Parker Furniture is synonymous with Australian cutting edge high end mid century design. This iconic ‘Nordic’ sideboard was crafted in the 1960’s and is instantly recognisable by the iconic 'cats eye' hardware.
This stunning teak piece has been restored on top, with the rest remaining original with it's vintage patina, and comes with it’s original dark purple felt lined cutlery drawer in excellent condition which is a rarity as they are usually well worn. This piece has some light veneer damage on the top, which is not noticeable, see last picture.
Very few brands I would consider investment pieces, but Parker Furniture along with Fler and a few others certainly fit that category.

At Upcycld we carefully curate antique and mid century designer furniture and painstakingly transform them in to one of a kind pieces, that are proudly 100% recycled. Our pieces are refinished using the best professional grade primers, paints, oils and top coats, sprayed through a professional spray gun for a beautiful finish.
Our painted pieces have 2 coats of stain blocking primer, 2 coats of adhesion primer, and 3 coats of a water based acrylic paint for a hardwearing finish on your statement piece.
Our restored to vintage pieces are gently stripped and sanded back, and are oiled multiple times using top quality professional grade products.
Occasionally we sell pieces in their original vintage condition to preserve the mid century patina, or if the piece only required minor conservative restorations.

🚚 Delivery is available both locally and interstate. Pickup is by appointment at our Moorabbin factory.
